NSL 2025 FALL CHAMPIONSHIPS

REGISTRATION FEES

  1.  $250 for 1 to 4  teams
  2.  $350 for 5 to 9 teams
  3. $450 for 10 to 14 teams
  4. $500 for 15+ teams

NUMBER OF BOWLERS

  1.  A team is 4 bowlers
  2. A team may have 1 to 4 substitutes
  3. No bowlers can be added after the league begins

WHO BOWLS – The NSL Championships are open to all bowlers.  No age restrictions.  Senior Wii Bowlers are the core of the NSL.  Bowlers with Intellectual and Developmental Differences (IDD) are the second line of bowlers.  The third line of bowlers – anyone with 4 Wii bowlers regardless of age or ability

CONFERENCES

  1.  Each team bowls in a conference of 8 teams
  2. You bowl against each team in your conference
  3. Two (2) games is a ‘match’
  4. One ‘match’ each week = 7 weeks of conference bowling

COACH

  1. Each team must have a dedicated Coach – generally the Activity Director or designee 
  2. The Coach may or may not be a Wii bowler
  3. The Coach is responsible for posting weekly scores
  4. The Coach is the ‘link’ between NSL management and the teams

POSTING SCORES

  1. Coaches will be sent a link to the Master Scoresheet
  2. The coach is responsible for in putting bowler and team names and posting scores each week.match eacg week
  3. Scores must be posted by end of Friday of each week
  4. Results will be available on Saturday of each week

PLAYOFFS

  1. Top 16 teams and ties in each division based on total ‘scratch’ pins following week 6 of conference bowling will advance to the playoffs
  2. Conference Champions advance to the playoffs if not in the top 16
  3. The playoffs are ‘one and done’ format – you win and you play on, you lose and your NSL season is over

DIVISIONS
Based on 'scratch' scores

  • CHAMPIONS DIVISION – 250 to 300 team average
  • SUPER ELITE DIVISION – 220 to 250 team average
  • ELITE 1 DIVISION – 200 to 220 team average
  • ELITE 2 DIVISION – 180 to 200 team average
  • SUPER MASTER DIVISION – 160 to 180 team average
  • MASTER 1 DIVISION – 140 to 160 team average
  • MASTER 2 DIVISION – less than 140 team average



MISCELLANEOUS NSL INFORMATION

  • The first year of the NSL was 2010.  We are in our 15th year of providing Wii Bowl Championships
  • Any internet Wii Bowling game can be used.  Nintendo Wii Sport Package and Nintendo Switch are recommended.  The Nintendo Wii Sport Package can be found at most GAME STOP stores
  • The NSL is a mission driven league sharing profits, if any, with dementia/Alzheimer’s programs

Basic Rules

  • Bowl in your community - no traveling required.
  • Form a team with up to four bowlers and allow four substitutes to create an 8-member roster.
  • It’s recommended to have a minimum of 5 registered bowlers on your team.
  • Each team has a ‘coach’ who is responsible for organization and keeping an open line of communication with the league. The coach is also responsible for posting weekly scores on our NSL/NCL website.

Prizes and Participation

All bowlers receive participation certificates and are recognized with NSL/NCL etched glass awards at the national championship level. Our leagues are designed for fun, and we take care of the logistics so you can focus on the game. We also name and honor a Wii Bowler of the Year and a Wii Coach of the Year.

Our competitive structure includes:

  • Champions: Average 250 to 300
  • Super Elite: Average 220 to 250
  • Elite 1: Average 200 to 220
  • Elite 2: Average 180 to 200
  • Super Master: Average 160 to 180
  • Master 1: Average 140 to 160
  • Master 2: Average less than 140

  • Three Bowlers Averaged 290+ Pins
  • Thirty Teams Averaged 200+ Pins
  • 30 Members Made the Prestigious NSL 300 Club

As in past seasons, Senior Centers rank as having Wii Bowlers with the highest averages. Notably, Kingsport Senior Center in Kingsport, TN, and Generations Senior Center in Plymouth, WI, continue to dominate at the highest level of Wii Bowling.
