FINAL WEEK OF THE NSL/NCL CONFERENCE PLAY

November 15, 2022

Entering the final week of NSL/NCL Conference play the NSL has 19 conference championship still up for grabs.  The most ever undecided conference champions in the 13 year history of the NSL.  In several conferences co-champions will be crowned.  How important is it to finish the season as conference champion—(1) Conference Champions receive Certificates of Champions and (2) Conference Champions and Co-Champions get automatic births in the NSL Playoffs offering the opportunity to Wii bowl for a National Title in one of 7 Divisions

In the NCL all four Conferences remain undecided as the Wii Bowl action swings into week 7.

The 13TH NSL season features 214 teams from 25 states representing 59 communities with 1.047 registered Wii Bowlers.  We start the 1st season of the NCL with 9 communities representing 31 teams.  The NCL features Wii bowlers with intellectual and developmental differences representing the Autistic Community, the Down Syndrome Community and Special Olympic Athletes.

The NSL features senior bowlers from all walks of life and all levels of abilities.  We feature bowlers from CCRC’s, Independent Senior Living Communities, Assisted Living Communities, Affordable Housing Communities, Senior Centers, VA Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Senior Meal Programs and Recreation Centers.  The League features Senior Wii Bowlers with disabilities, bowlers in wheelchairs and legally blind bowlers.

In both leagues competitors bowl in their own community.  No traveling is involved.  Four (4) bowlers to a team.  A team roster can have up to 4 substitutes making for an 8 team roster.  The NSL/NCL recommends a team have a mimimum of 5 registered bowlers.  All teams are led by a ‘coach’ who is responsible for organizing the team(s) and keeping an open line of communication with the NSL/NCL.  The coach is also responsible for posting team scores on the NSL website each week.

The NSL provides participation certificates for all bowlers as well as certificates for conference champions.  Winners and Finalists at the National Championship level receive NSL awards.  We also name and honor a Senior Wii Bowler of the Year and a NSL Wii Coach of the Year.

The registration fees are - $200 for one to 4 teams, $250 for 5 to 9 and $300 for 10 + teams.
