BASIC RULES - Bowl in your community.  No traveling is involved.  Four (4) bowlers to a team.  A team roster can have up to 4 substitutes making for an 8 team roster.  We recommend a team have a minimum of 5 registered bowlers.  All teams are led by a ‘coach’ who is responsible for organizing the team(s) and keeping an open line of communication with the league.  The coach is also responsible for posting team scores on the NSL/NCL website each week.

The league provides participation certificates for all bowlers as well as Champions Certificates for conference Winners.  Winners and Finalists at the National Championship level receive NSL/NCL Etched Glass awards.  We name and honor a Wii Bowler of the Year and a Wii Coach of the Year.

UNBEWiiVABLES CAPTURE NATIONAL TITLE

October 06, 2011

The UnbeWiiVables of Margaret Schweinhaut SC, Silver Spring, MD, soundly defeated the Happy Life of The Active Life, LaGrange, FL, in the final match up of the 2011 NSL Fall Wii bowling championship hosted by LeadingAge and sponsored by Aegis Therapies.  Coach Karen Maxin’s team led by 64 pins after the first game and upped the count by 149 pins the second game to score a convincing victory.  Stephan Hatos, the NSL MVB (Most Valuable Bowler), led the UnbeWiiVables with a 280 and a 259 pin count.  The match featured lower than usual scores from the powerful teams as they battled in the NSL final played at a neutral site.  Wii bowlers had to fight the pressure along with a totally different environment and the television crews taping the event as they struggled with concentration and finding proper lines and release points.

NSL 2011 AWARDS
Joe Riccobene, SAS Strikers, Evelyn Kelly, Happy Strikers, and Bob Brigham, UnbeWiiVables were named 2011 Wii Bowlers of the Year.  Tom Gray, Vintage Senior Living, was named NSL Wii Coach of the Year.
